We are open for Walk-In Tours on Monday and Thursday afternoons from 12:30-3pm.

Class of 2026 Event!



Rock the Plaid & Grab the Syrup. It's GHS Flannels and Flapjacks Day this Wednesday.


Grab your coziest flannel and bring your biggest appetite at lunch for warm pancakes, sweet syrup, and an even sweeter community. This is your official invitation to slow down & cozy up during lunch on Wednesday with GHS.


Plaid looks encouraged. Extra butter is optional (but highly recommended).




2026-27 Open Enrollment is Open!

The 2026–2027 Greenspire School enrollment period opened on Friday, February 6. During this time, all new and returning students are required to complete an enrollment application for the upcoming school year.


Even if your child currently attends Greenspire, an application & registration is still required for Fall 2026



Please note that applications must be submitted by Friday, March 13 at 4:00 PM. Returning students who do not complete an application during this enrollment window may forfeit their spot for the next school year.

NHS Coin Drive


Check your couch and car for loose change, NHS is having coin drive to support the Grand Traverse Conservation District has been extended for an extra week! Win an ice cream sundae bar in your elective!







The President Gerald R. Ford Student Writing Challenge is now accepting submissions through March 13, 2026, from 9-12th grade students in the United States to compete for a top prize of $2,500. See Mr. Peck for more details.







Congrats to Kiana, Malcom, Abby, and Abi on being cast in OTP's production of The Giver. We can't wait to see you on stage!






Get ready for the first ever Greenspire School District Talent Showcase taking place at Old Town Playhouse in April! If you're a performer, submit your audition video using the QR code. Auditions are open to students, parents, & Greenspire staff!

Scholarship Opportunities

2026 scholarship applications are now open!


We have more than 100 scholarships available that aim to support the secondary education pursuits of graduating high school seniors, current college students, and vocational/trade school students from across the region.


Students from Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, and Leelanau County and the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians are invited to apply by completing our General Scholarship Application.



The General Application will provide students with a list of scholarships for which they may be eligible after the application is complete. Some scholarships may require a separate application or supplemental materials.


We also offer several scholarships that require an application separate from our General Application, including:

  • Home Builders’ Association of Grand Traverse Area Scholarship

  • Michigan County Medical Care Facilities Council Scholarship

  • National Writers Series Scholarships

  • Northwest Michigan Osteopathic Scholarship

  • Traverse City Track Club Scholarship

  • Northwestern Michigan College University Center Scholarships

  • USS Indianapolis/Gwinn "Angel" Scholarship (application opens in February)


Scholarship applications are due on March 1 by 11:59 pm, unless otherwise noted.
